Mr. Lonnie Joe Hoover, age 68, of Bodcaw, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Hillcrest Care and Rehab in Prescott, Arkansas. He was born September 13, 1944 in Bodcaw to James Eli “Bud” and Lular Bearden Hoover. He was a member of Bodcaw Baptist Church. He worked as farm laborer for his good friends Larry and Linda Hicks. He loved his church and church family along with his favorite hobby working jigsaw puzzles. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers James Clyde Hoover, James “Junior” Hoover and one sister Juanita Mayo.

His survivors include two brothers; John Lewis Hoover of Bodcaw and Bill Hoover of Prescott, Arkansas, one sister; Willie Faye Clements and husband Billy of Bodcaw and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00am to 2:00pm, Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Bodcaw Baptist Church.

Funeral service for Mr. Hoover will be 2:00pm, Wednesday December 26, 2012, at Bodcaw Baptist Church. Bro. Jerry Evans and Bro. Ed Phillips officiating.
