Mrs. Barbara Lynn Raley, age 68, of Hope, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Hope. She was born September 6, 1944 in New Iberia, Louisiana to Curtis O’Neal and Lillie Mae Works Williams. She was a Baptist. She was a devoted loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all that was around her. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Williams and sister Carolyn McDaniels.

Mrs. Raley is survived by two daughters; Anita Tompkins and husband Evan of Hope, Arkansas, Shirley Ann Painter and husband Jerry of Wonderlake, Illinois, one son; Don Spates of west Yellowstone, Montana, four sisters; Elizabeth Bowden of Hope, Arkansas, Mary Gilley of Wills Point, Texas, Gloria Burnett of Genoa, Arkansas and Cata Hall of McNabb, Arkansas, eight grandchildren; Dalton, Raley, Landyn, Dee, Joel, Dallas, Erin and Hunter.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00pm Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.

Funeral service for Mrs. Raley will be 2:00pm, Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel in Hope. Bro. Kenny Polk officiating.
